Freshmen Flock Onto Campus

As you could probably observe this year, there are a lot of new cardinals fluttering the halls. Most of these freshly hatched cardinals are freshmen as most have observed. There are 77 new additions to the nest family. I had the opportunity of tweeting with some of them and they are very fun and talented students. I spoke with a student who attended Christ the King last year named Patrick Murphy. He says that his favorite part about St. Michael so far are the school lunches. He is on the baseball team, which is a new team at St. Michael this year. Patrick said that he was excited to get involved in the Pro-Life club and the Sportsmen club. Patrick is a member of the house of O’Sullivan. Also, Patrick’s favorite teacher is Coach Offerle, his math teacher. Millie Ollinger attended Christ the King last year as well. Millie says she very much enjoys St. Michael so far. Millie is a part of the Football Cheer squad. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Drake, her English teacher. Millie is also a member of the house of O’Sullivan. Millie says that her favorite part of St. Michael is the house system. She thinks it is a very fun way to get competitive and she claims that O’Sullivan is the best. Millie is excited to get involved with Ping Pong club, Pro-Life club, and the Yearbook club. These new hatchlings are surely spreading their wings.
