New Cardinals Hit Campus

Here is a chance to get to know a few of the new Cardinals on campus this year. Two students, both juniors, Stirling Faulkner and Michael Pierce were asked a series of questions about their experience at St. Michael so far, and this is what they had to say. Michael says that his favorite thing about the school so far is that he loves how nice and welcoming all the students and staff are to him, and Stirling says that it is way more convenient than driving across the bay to McGill-Toolen for both her and her sister. Both Stirling and Michael plan to be involved in sports and several clubs. Stirling says that she wants to tryout for cheer and she signed up for the Pro-Life, Scholars Bowl, and Yearbook club. Michael is interested in playing football and basketball, but is sadly ineligible this year coming from Spanish Fort High School. He plans on being involved in other ways by participating in clubs such as the Pro-Life, Men’s Volleyball, Sportsman’s Club. Lastly, for fun, they were asked who their favorite teacher is so far, and Michael said he really enjoys Mr. Pryor because he brings fun and laughter to the class. Stirling says Mr. Martin because he is kind to everyone, while making class fun and interactive. These students have made many friends so far, and have felt like St. Michael is a true fit for them. They are excited for what the rest of the year has in store for them.
